H800 Extruder V4 enables filament to be fed vertically from top reducing feeding resistance. The V4 extruder uses two cooling fans for improved cooling of the extruder, decreasing the chance for filament jams. The V4 extruder is currently used in the H800+.

Adjustable wind baffle on the extruder cover allows for air control over the model.

The V4 extruder utilizes the XS024 nozzle (8 mm brass, 0.4 mm opening).

Middle school math and PLTW

I had to replace my original extruder because it was overheating. This one has an extra fan and so far is working great. I think the company knows there is a problem with overheating on the original extruder since they added an extra fan to the new one. It is for this reason only that I give this 4 stars. I think Afinia should have provided the new extruder or at least provided a discounted price. These are expensive repairs for a school.
